The AS ATN has dramatically changed the standards of care for children and youth with ASD through its development and implementation of a comprehensive, family-centered model, with a focus on continuing care.
One of the goals of the AS ATN/AIR-P Network is to provide opportunities to develop collaborations and partnerships with clinicians and researchers who are external to our current ATN centers. The Network provides a variety of mechanisms to encourage involvement in AS ATN/AIR-P activities and has demonstrated particular interest in supporting junior investigators in developing their research efforts to improve the medical care of children with autism.
Our monthly webinar series alternates autism research and care themes, and are available to all AS ATN/AIR-P network members, CAAI-sponsored programs, the entire LEND and DBP Fellowship networks, various other autism and pediatric organizations, collaborators, primary care providers as well as autism advocates. Research webinars feature current AIR-P research study principal investigators, while care focused themes cover hot topics in the field of autism, and promote idea generation for future research. We offer one continuing medical education credit for each eligible webinar attendee. Webinars are also recorded and available for viewing after the event. Please join us!
